Due to the COVID 19 pandemic the usual classroom teachings had been temporarily suspended and rusting brains had to be jogged into activity. Tea time talks on Thursday at 3.30 pm (T6) began as a small group class on a digital platform on 14th May with an interactive case-based session on dysnatremias by Dr Ali. We were all unfamiliar with this mode of teaching-learning but soon it grew on us and its usefulness was so empowering that it has now been extended to active participation of pediatric nephrologists and trainee pediatric nephrologists across the country. The sessions are a mix of case presentations, journal clubs and seminars by trainees and guest lectures by eminent specialists from within and outside the country.
